temple square

this year at temple square, it was a nice temperature. warm enough that a coat was good enough. my goodness, last year was miserably cold when we took are trip to see the lights. my big brother came for thanksgiving, so we got to go with him and his family to see the temple... Nixy poo, he is now 5 months old, and he rolls all over the floor, and can sit up for a few minutes me and the girls, roxy age 5, riley age trouble..... 2.5 rox and her cousin elan

Lets take a mini walk down memory lane..... Remember that holiday that passed by not too long ago? Halloween. I intended to post the awesome pictures of our pumpkin carvings. I assumed they would turn out that way, b/c they just always do. In the midst of taking the top off the second pumpkin I gracefully slide my fingers down the blade of the knife. Ouch. Blood instantly started oozing, 1 minute later I was off to the Hospital. On the way their I made the normal cell phone call to my insurance to find out where my HMO allowed me to go, and ended up at the insta care on 90th South. 3 large stiches later, I returned home to finish the pumpkins, here are the results. Cinderella- Brian did this one sarah palin- poor sarah, i could not finish the details in her face, due to my sore and bulky finger These pumpkins are from 2007...

Twilight, Best movie of the year?

this photos is from me and my sister's favorite scene: they are in the school parking lot, and finally "together" and everyone is "staring." sadly, it only lasts for a moment, and then off to the wilderness again. unfortunatley, no. don't get me wrong, seeing the movie was like Christmas morning, it just fell short in many ways. The script: good grief, tell me stephenie was unhappy with this. i realize the script couldn't be as awesome as the book, it just screamed "made for tv." The special effects: the movie obviously is not loaded with this stuff, so that was good. but what they did have to modify, like the running and fighting, was soooo cheesy looking, again "made for tv movie." those were the 2 big down falls for me. i loved robert pattinson (he really grew on me) and kristen stewart did a good job as well(just take out the hospital scene where she botches it big time). i don't think anyone plays the "suffer in sil...
